My Story
Daniel Firth, M.D. - Founder of The Multifamily MD
I am a full-time family medicine physician. My family and I live in a town called Safety Harbor that is close to Tampa Florida. I went to medical school at the University of Florida and attended family medicine residency at the University of Arizona.
I started off investing in single-family properties, but over the past two years, my focus has been primarily multifamily investing. I have learned that multifamily is a lot more predictable and scalable than single-family homes. Especially for busy professionals with a limited amount of free time it is much easier to manage one 10 unit apartment than 10 single-family homes.
Over the past three years, I have been doing an “internship” with Bryan Chavis best selling author of “Buy It, Rent It, Profit!”. He has been able to pass on his knowledge and experience from 20 years in the multifamily industry to help shorten my learning curve.
I am currently working with Chavis Capital as their investor relations manager. Serving in this role has gained me invaluable experience in evaluating multifamily investments and working with investors.
I still love practicing medicine, but I am using passive income from investing to be able to practice medicine on my own terms rather than relying solely on my salary.

When I am not busy working I am spending time with my wife and our two young boys. When I can find the time I also enjoy playing tennis, soccer, and golf.
