Hello everyone. My name is Jermaine Hawthorne and I’m the owner of Resurgence Solutions. I have a combined industry experience of both home care and commercial real estate for over 11 years.
The purpose of this video is my personal response to investors. Some of the questions and concerns are solutions to their vacant properties, helping with capitalizing on the private care home industry and help with operating the private care home once in place, during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Here are some industry facts. The US home care market is expected to grow from 100 billion in 2016 to 225 billion by 2024, from the expanding population of the elderly. Of the nation’s 115 million homes, only 10% are ready to accommodate older populations. So what is a private care home and how does Resurgence Solutions help? A private care home is a home that provides or arranges for the provision of housing, food services, and one or more personal surfaces for two or more adults who were not related to the owner or their administrator.

The question that investors asked me is how do they transfer over into the healthcare field, and how do they do it with low risk? So we’ve provided a couple of solutions for that issue. One is we offer services for investors to identify their perfect markets, to assess their resources as far as does their property even meet regulations, is it in the right market if that makes sense? We also help them navigate the state and legal structure requirements to get started. We help them what marketing systems to acquire home care clients, and we also help them with managing operations, which is significant because being in the commercial real estate industry and acquiring tenants is different from acquiring healthcare clients in the operations to manage that. From our industry background, we will come in and assist in that area, because I have found that is one of the major issues that investors want solved.
Who are we looking for? We’re looking for investors who are looking to enter the healthcare industry and have little to no experience doing so. We’re also interested in those investors who want to offer solutions to the pressing housing shortage with their current properties.
